Thank you for using the ForRacers Setup App ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights around it.

Information you provide: your email address and password when you register, racing data you enter (car setups, tire temperatures, tire usage, track notes, race results, maintenance logs), and team information including messages sent in team chat.
Information collected automatically: device type and OS version (for crash diagnostics) and which screens and features you use (to improve the App).
Camera and photos: The App requests camera and photo library access solely to let you scan setup sheets and import images. Photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly save them.
We use your information to create and manage your account, store and sync your racing data across devices, send verification and password reset emails, enable team collaboration, and improve the App. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it beyond operating the App.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
We send emails only for account verification (on first register) and password resets (only when you request one). We do not send marketing emails.
Your account and racing data are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time directly within the app (Account → Delete Account), which permanently removes all your data. You may also contact support@forracers.com for assistance.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App uses: Resend (email delivery), Neon/PostgreSQL (database), and Expo/EAS (app distribution).
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us at support@forracers.com to exercise any of these rights.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the App or by email. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version.
